Why Choose FBF
Built Different. On Purpose.
A Black woman-owned company built from nearly two decades of real hospitality experience — and driven by something bigger than the bottom line.
The Difference
We Didn't Inherit This Industry. We Challenged It.
Corporate housing has always catered to a certain kind of traveler. Flawed BUT Favored was built by a Black woman with nearly two decades of real hospitality experience — not a credential, a career on her feet serving people. She knew what genuine care looked like, and she knew this industry wasn't delivering it. So she built something that did.
The Bigger Picture
Every Stay Fuels a Purpose.
Flawed BUT Favored is the engine behind REAP Transitional Housing Inc. — a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by the same woman who built FBF. REAP exists to provide structured transitional housing, life skills development, food security support, and independence preparation for young adults aging out of foster care — through a phased model focused on stability, accountability, and long-term self-sufficiency. When you choose FBF, you're not just choosing quality housing. You're part of what makes that mission possible.
What Sets Us Apart
Four Reasons. One Standard.
Nearly Two Decades in Hospitality.
The founder of FBF spent almost 18 years as a waitress. Not in a boardroom. On her feet, serving people, learning what genuine care actually looks like in practice. That's the foundation this company was built on — and it shows in every detail.
Dignity Is the Baseline.
When you've spent years in service, you learn fast that hospitality isn't about the price point — it's about whether someone felt seen. Every guest who walks into an FBF home should feel that. Not as a luxury. As the standard.
Vetted Professionals. Shared Respect.
Every person in an FBF home is a screened, working professional. The environment is quiet, focused, and respectful — because we hold everyone to the same standard. No exceptions.
Your Stay Funds Real Change.
FBF is the financial engine behind REAP Transitional Housing Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving young adults aging out of foster care. The same founder. The same mission. Every booking moves that work forward.
FBF vs. Standard Housing
What You're Actually Comparing.
The FBF Promise
What Every Guest Can Expect.
Built by Someone Who Knows Hospitality
The founder spent nearly 18 years as a waitress. She didn't read about hospitality — she lived it. That's the standard FBF is built on.
Professionally Prepared Spaces
Every suite is cleaned, stocked, and staged before you arrive. You walk in ready to work and rest — not to set up.
Vetted Professional Occupants
Every person in the home is a screened, working professional. The environment is quiet, respectful, and focused.
Consistent Cleanliness
Shared spaces are professionally cleaned on a bi-weekly schedule. The standard you arrive to is the standard you keep throughout your stay.
